About the event
The Low Consort
This workshop is for experienced players, especially those who might want more of a stretch during their virtual playing opportunities, and will feature consort music of the Renaissance, Baroque, and Modern eras for tenors, basses, great basses and contrabasses. In addition to enjoying the warm sounds and beautiful music, we’ll work on some of the specific technical challenges the larger sizes present regarding breathing, timing, and articulation, and answer your big recorder questions.
