Free for members Los Pasos Perdidos: Rediscovering the Sounds of Pre-Columbian Aerophones Over the last few years, French recorder player and composer Pierre Hamon has worked extensively and with much care and heart with musical instruments of the Pre-Columbian era, reconstructing, re-imagining, and reviving some of the lost traditions of pre-Columbian music in South and Central America. He will showcase and share some of the sounds of these fascinating instruments - distant cousins of the recorder - and also reflect on how this particular journey has influenced him as a recorder player.
