We're excited to announce Glen will be back with us this fall. It's always good to have Glen lead our playing meetings. Trick or Treat! Just in time for Halloween, we’ll enjoy sacred and scary music about demons, witches and goblins, plus a nice piece of candy to sweeten the cauldron. From being escorted to the depths of Hell in the 1690’s, to disappearing children in 1908 and my version of dancing witches in Macbeth, we’ll sample four spooky recorder potions through the centuries that have a little something for players of all levels. Music by Giacomo Carissimi, James Asher Parks, Harry von Tilzer and Yours Truly. Big basses too. Eye of newt and wing of bat, unfurl the haunted welcome mat! The Zoom link will be live beginning at 1:30 pm Eastern (12:30 pm Central, 11:30 am Mountain, 10:30 am Pacific). Please join us as we will use the time to chat and use breakout rooms to get to know one another. NEW OFFERING: To help you get the most out of upcoming playing meetings, NAVRS Music Director Annette Bauer is offering an "office hour" on the Wednesday before the playing meeting, from noon to 1 pm eastern to answer your questions about the month's music! The office hour is free with your registration for the playing meeting. You will receive a separate email with office hour details and Zoom link when you register.
